Baptism is the first of the 7 Sacraments and begins the life of grace. If you wish to enquire about Baptism as an adult see here. If you wish to start a process to prepare for the Baptism of your child, please speak to Fr Mark after Mass and collect a form from the back of church.
Forgiveness is at the heart of our faith. We all carry the burden of sin and the burden of being sinned against. Come and receive the mercy of God in the Sacrament of forgiveness. Learn to be forgiven that you might forgive.
We receive the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Christ in the Eucharist at Mass. This sacred gift is the principal way we are united with Christ and with one another and it strengthens us in our spiritual journey. If you wish to receive the Eucharist for the first time as an adult see here. If you wish your child to prepare for First Holy Communion contact us on the link below.
Confirmation is "necessary for the completion of Baptismal grace" (Catechism, 1285) and in the Diocese of Salford Confirmation can be received by anybody over the age of 13. It is the Sacrament of the Holy Spirit which strengthens and seals the gifts of the Spirit in us. If you wish to receive Confirmation as an adult see here. If you wish your child to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation contact us on the link below.
Celebrate your union through the sacrament of holy matrimony. A valid marriage for a Catholic has to take place in a particular form. Parishioners are very welcome to discuss their plans for marriage with us. Please plan ahead, we ask for 6 months notice to ensure all paperwork can be done.
Do you feel called to serve the Church as a priest or permanent deacon? Our parish is here to guide and support you as you discern your vocation.
The Sacrament of the Sick is a particular gift of Christ for those who are seriously ill or facing serious danger (such as surgery). It is not only for those at the end of life. It is unwise to wait until the very last moment of life to call the priest. Please let us know by telephone if you or a loved one would like to receive the Sacrament and receive God's strength, healing and mercy.
