The Parish of St. Winifred's belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford.
Our parish is part of the community of the Diocese of Salford, and the one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, in living communion with the Bishop of Rome, Francis I.
According to legend, Winifred was the daughter of a Welsh nobleman, Tyfid ap Eiludd.
Our primary school is situated on Didsbury Road and there are currently 369 children on roll.
